Positioning yourself as a leader is the key to getting people wanting to get to know you better. They will view your profile and really get to know you. The more people get to know you, the more that the trust will build. People join with people that they trust.
Folks love to chat about things that they enjoy. If I had a really good meal somewhere I would share that information with my friends. Same thing applies online. If I share great content to my friends and they like it, then they will share it with their friends. This information will get passed around and it will get your name out there and builds your reputation positively.
You want to act like a leader and not like a salesman. Leaders don’t chase prospects, they wait for the leads to come to them. The key is to build trust with the prospect first before ever asking for the sale.
You want to communicate and interact with people so they eventually go to your profile page to get to know you better. They will eventually click on your website to see what you are offering. If this is something of interest to them, then they will become a lead. The best part is, is that this strategy is totally free and it works.
